Dress Code

In line with the clubhouse’s friendly and polished environment, smart casual attire is required at all times. T-shirts, beachwear, and trainers are not permitted.

On-Course Dress Code

Golf shoes with soft spikes are required, along with appropriate golf attire. Tailored shorts or trousers and collared shirts are recommended, while ladies may wear sleeveless golf tops. Soft spikes help preserve the quality of the course and greens for all players to enjoy.

Juniors

Children up to 17 years old (inclusive) are not allowed on the golf course, except if they have a handicap and
are accompanied by an adult. Buggies may be operated by adults from the age of 18.

Bad Weather Policy

It is the responsibility of the Golf Director to determine whether play is possible on any given day. If the course drains well, rain or strong winds alone are not sufficient reason to close it. Should weather conditions deteriorate during play, preventing players from continuing safely, they will be escorted from the course. The same applies in the event of electrical activity.

Rain Check & Refund Policy

In the event of a course closure due to adverse weather, green fees are non-refundable. However, personal and non-transferable rain check vouchers may be issued at the discretion of the Golf Director.

Food & Beverage Outlets

The Els Club Vilamoura: Enjoy a fine selection of meals throughout the day, either in the 261 restaurant located in the west wing of the Clubhouse or on the terrace overlooking the 18th green.
